DOOMSDAY REWRITE FINAL NOTES

SEASON NINE: If we were going to do a following season, we
would have had the Justice League eventually break Davis out
of prison when he's going to be executed for his crimes.
Dr. Hamilton will be the one to give him the lethal injection,
which will just make him "look" like he's dead (think Romeo
and Juliet).

Chloe would return to journalism, becoming kind of an
assistant editor to Perry on top of her Watchtower job.
It's not just the guys who get to have double identities!
Oliver would be back to his normal self, Lois and Jimmy would
be believably pursuing their careers (yes Jimmy is the REAL
Jimmy Olsen), Clark and Chloe would resolve all of their
feelings (and yes we would include an episode of Chloe and
Clark together in an alternate life of some kind), Davis and
Chloe would be together (the world would think Davis was
dead), Lana's powers would go away and eventually she'll
move back to Smallville and just remain friends with Clark,
Lois and Clark would start to be built up slowly (Lois would
like the RBB much more than Clark), and they would all be
working as a team to fight the good fight!

Hope would return and it would become more like a "Superman"
story again. We would also start answering many of
Smallville's unanswered questions. Well anyway, that's just
a small gist!

DOOMSDAY REWRITE ACT FIVE AND TRAILER

ACT FIVE

EXT. METROPOLIS -- NIGHT

Lois and Jimmy finally make it to the scene.

Lois will see Clark injured.  She rushes over to him to cradle
him in her arms.  Clark tells her that it was the beast. The
people tell Lois that the RBB and Davis saved them all. This
will be after the crowd of people have all agreed to protect
their secrets.

Chloe's healing powers return and transform her.  

JIMMY
Why is she saving him?

BYSTANDER
He saved us.

It begins to dawn on Jimmy that he may have been wrong
about Davis this whole time.

Chloe saves the "Beast" (or the "prince" since the Beast is
no longer in him).  Chloe doesn't die like she usually does. 
Her powers are evolving.  (Could she be transforming more
and more into a phoenix?  A good one which would make her
immortal?  This scene will be the BATB healing tears scene).

Davis wakes up to discover Chloe's real feelings for him.  It's
all he wanted.  

The cops show up on the scene (they don't witness all of the
supernatural, magical occurrences).  They need to take him.
He's the cornfield killer.

Music Cue: Airs "Fix You" by Coldplay.  (The rest of the episode
will play out music video style; Think Bride and Requiem).

The people of Metropolis don't want him to be taken (some people
DID witness everything unfold and they want to protect Davis
because he saved them).  Even Oliver, Bart, Dinah, and Jimmy
stand for him, who now realize they were wrong.  Davis saved
Oliver's life.  Clark was right about saving him.   

The people cover for Clark and stand for Davis. Lois and Jimmy do
see Chloe heal Davis, they just don't see Clark's part in it.

The people in the crowd will want to save Davis.  But he wants
redemption.  The people will all stand in front of him to protect
him. This group of people, like Spiderman 2, are going to keep
Clark, Chloe and Davis's secret because they all protected them.

We'll see how history changes. History is in the mind of the teller, and
this is what the people tell.  IE: That Doomsday is not a part of Davis. 
No one will ever know Davis Bloome and Doomsday were one and the
same.

Davis steps in front of his protective barrier and willingly goes with the cops.
He's taking personal responsibility.

We're going to have an epic stare between Chloe and Davis as he gets put in
the back seat of a cop car.  

Clark in Lois's arms, all the other characters kind of showing their emotions
stemmed from "Doomsday." Oliver will get rid of Lex's ring. Jimmy throws
out his drugs.

In the aftermath, it starts to rain. Redemption for everyone is on the table. 
They all look up as the rain pours down on them.

INT. LUTHOR MANSION. -- NIGHT

While Lana and Tess are fighting, suddenly a bright light shines outside in the
middle of the city. The orb works, which means Zod returns.  They stop to
stare at the light.

INT. METROPOLIS PRISON -- NIGHT

Show Davis being put behind bars in an orange jump suit.

INT. DAILY PLANET. -- NIGHT

Lois hands her finished article about the RBB AND the Cornfield Killer to Perry
(with the picture by Jimmy of course; being nice she gives Clark co-author credit). 
Perry hands Lois an application for Met U in exchange!  She's staying for now.

INT. MAYOR'S OFFICE -- NIGHT

The Mayor of Metropolis is revealed to be X. Cadmus has become a rogue
Luthorcorp project Tess has been working with secretly.  X, the Mayor, is familiar
with Kryptonians. He once was a detective who discovered the truth behind Veritas.
He's power hungry and wants to rule. Zod deceives him.  When Zod was here before
as Lex, he went to see this Mayor and told him what was needed to be done if anything
happened to the Lex Vessel. He told him partial truth. Zod (as Lex) was able to
re-establish, with-out Lex's actual knowledge, the re-opening of Cadmus Labs.

INT. CADMUS LABS. -- NIGHT

Reveal that Lex has been turned into many clones (hence the Requiem death), and that
the real LEX LUTHOR is hooked up to a machine.

EXT. LUTHOR MANSION. -- NIGHT

In the very end of the scene, show Zod's return.

TRAILER


INT. WATCHTOWER SET. -- DAY

Chloe, Oliver, Clark, Bart, Dinah and Doctor Hamilton meet at the new WATCHTOWER
SET.  It's clear there are still some issues.  Trust will have to be earned again.  But,
they've all decided to put the past in the past.  They all join forces once again to fight the
good fight.  They stand there, their movement matching to the uplifting beat of the song.

The music stops.

CHLOE
Let's get to work!

DOOMSDAY REWRITE ACT FOUR

EXT. METROPOLIS. RUINS OF OLIVER'S AIRPLANE -- NIGHT

Clark and Chloe show up to the scene. Davis is
gone.  The chains which had been holding him are broken. 
Everyone's injured (Dr. Hamilton, Bart, Dinah), slowly coming
to.  Suddenly the "Beast" emerges.  Chloe and Clark look up
to see Doomsday towering over them.

EXT. STREETS OF METROPOLIS -- NIGHT

Lois and Jimmy are in the city together; they are stuck in riots.
They hear the Beast off in the distance and try to make their
way over there. From a distance she'll see the RBB.  Jimmy
takes a picture.

EXT. METROPOLIS -- NIGHT

Chloe tries to calm the beast.  He kind of looks at her.  He's
the romantic "Doomy" here.  She approaches him putting up
her hand to touch his cheek.  It seems he's going to turn back
into Davis, when suddenly, Doomsday notices Clark approaching
him from the side.  He has Black Kryptonite in his hand.

CHLOE
(backing away)
Clark...NO!

Just as Clark is about to use it, the Beast knocks it away causing
it to explode and disintegrate.  Now, he's angry.  His survival has
been threatened.

Clark has to fight DD to save the people of Metropolis. They have
a really BIG fight scene.  (Much longer than ~SV's DOOMSDAY fight).
Scene ends with Clark knocked to the ground.  

INT. LUTHOR MANSION -- NIGHT

Lana returns and barges in to see Tess. She confronts Tess and tells
her that she knows who X is, and she's gotten in over her head.

TESS
Looks like the fight is right on schedule.

LANA
What did you do?

They fight...physically, both using their skills.  Lana, with her powers
has the upper hand.  But Tess is one tough cookie.

Lana's not going to let her do anything to Clark.  

EXT. METROPOLIS -- NIGHT

Doomsday wreaks havoc on the city, while Clark is slowly getting back
up, recovering from DD's blows.

Chloe tries to get Doomsday's attention again.  

As Chloe runs up to Doomsday, he turns around and hurts Chloe
accidentally.  She collapses, unconscious, looking dead.  Davis starts
to emerge from the Beast and catches Chloe just in time. He carries
her. He's half Beast.  

Clark uses his heat vision to try and knock Chloe out of the Beast's arms.
It hits the cross accidentally.  The cross (Davis's cross Chloe wears
around her neck) somehow effects him and splits him from the Beast. 
The cross was made up of Black Kryptonite (ironic that his "salvation"
the whole time has been in the form of a cross).

The explosion sends Chloe and Davis flying.  Davis, now separate from
the beast, comes to and lovingly caresses Chloe, who is still unconscious.

Davis sees Clark, up and fighting again, and also losing the fight against
Doomsday.  The BYSTANDERS can see who the Red-Blue-Blur is clearly.

Clark is on the ground, and Doomsday is about to kill him.  

Davis runs after the beast with full on adrenaline to save Clark and to avenge
Chloe who he thinks might be dead.  He's not going to live without her.

Davis discovers he has Kryptonian powers like Clark and uses them against
the Beast.  His camouflage was never human.  He was always made up of
Kryptonian DNA.

Just in time, Davis saves Clark and begins to fight his inner beast, which is
now in front of him!  Like the priest told him, he has found a way to control
his inner demons.

Chloe wakes up; She looked worse than she was.  She sees Clark injured
and crawls over to him, forgiving him.  Near death experiences do that!  And
then she turns to see Davis fighting the Beast. The beast is winning; Chloe
gathers up her energy and stands, almost instinctually. She focuses and uses
her "powers" (whatever it is she can do when Davis is around her; it still seems
to work a little bit even though Davis is no longer inside of Doomsday) to be
able to stop the beast.  

ROKK appears from the future, ready to stop the beast with his ring, but he's
worried he might be too late. He looks at Chloe and is surprised at what she's
doing. The beast seems to be stumbling. Rokk joins Chloe.  They stand side by
side.  Chloe weakens DD while he gets his ring ready.

Oliver shows up, interrupting them, and sees Davis. Oliver can't see that the
Beast is coming up behind him.  Davis runs toward Oliver to protect him and
continue to fight the beast.  

Oliver, not thinking (and not knowing that Davis is actually helping everyone, and
that Doomsday is separate from Davis now), shoots Davis with a kryptonite arrow
to slow him down. Davis stares up at him in shock.  Now that he's "Kryptonian"
and not Doomsday, Kryptonite effects him.  Oliver shoots another arrow.

CHLOE
NO!

Davis falls to the ground, and just as the beast is going to kill Oliver, who just
realized what he has done, Davis saves him; even though Oliver has "killed"
him, by injuring Doomsday with his own "heat" vision.  We see why Davis also
could have been "Superman" had he been raised by the Kents and not been
programmed to kill.

The Beast topples to the ground.  ROKK takes hold of the opportunity and sends
DD to the end of times with the ring.

Dr. Hamilton, Bart and Dinah make it to the scene, injured but okay.

Chloe rushes over weakly to Davis who is dying.

DAVIS
(weak, breathy and on the verge of death)
I was never human. I was always the beast. Thank you for making me believe that
you loved me. I know you always loved Clark.

Chloe cries over him as he dies.  She finally realizes who it is she really loves.

CHLOE
I love you Davis.  I loved you...

DOOMSDAY REWRITE ACT THREE

EXT. THIRD WORLD COUNTRY -- DAY (A COUPLE DAYS AGO)

Reveal LANA working in a Third World Country helping people. 
She's assisting a DOCTOR.

Lana receives an envelope from her former coach, that he's
discovered who X is, and that she needs to return to Metropolis
as soon as possible. Clark could be in danger.

INT. OLIVER'S JET. -- NIGHT - TRAVELING

Justice League with Davis, transporting him in chains. Davis
wakes up to see Dr. Hamilton standing over him. Davis gets
angry.  

DAVIS
YOU?

Davis at this point thinks the genetic map was all a trick to
capture him.  BUT, he has no idea that Dr. Hamilton is in
fact being blackmailed.

INT. LUTHOR MANSION -- NIGHT

Tess, under the instructions of X from a disguised phone call,
must crash the plane DD is on. X tells her the Orb is ready to
be used, but they must meet the conditions of Zod before they
use it. She needs to let the Beast loose. X says that the
Traveler and the Beast must fight.

We'll see Tess on the phone.  

TESS
Do it!

INT. HOME OF A METROPOLIS MIDDLE CLASS FAMILY -- NIGHT

A family sits together watching the television, when suddenly the
lights go out.  There is an eerie silence.

EXT. METROPOLIS -- NIGHT

Tess's people turn off all the electricity in the city and they cause
the plane to crash;

INT. OLIVER'S JET. -- NIGHT

As the plane crashes to the ground, Davis breaks free from his
chains and starts to turn into the Beast.  Still half Davis, half
Beast, Davis softens the crash with his strength.

Chaos ensues...

INT. ISIS -- NIGHT

Chloe and Clark are arguing when they hear the crash.  They
had been searching her computers when the electricity went
out.  They decide to head to the middle of the city.

EXT. METROPOLIS -- NIGHT

We end the act by seeing devastation and fires.  It really is
"Doomsday."

Doomsday REWRITE ACT TWO

INT. KENT BARN -- NIGHT

Chloe rushes into the Barn, frightened of what she will
discover.

CHLOE
Clark?

No one is there.  Chloe searches around and picks up
a picture of herself with Clark.

Clark enters, startling Chloe.  She turns around to see
him.  They stare at each other, both with so much to
say in their eyes.

Chloe runs into Clark's arms and hugs him.  There is
still feelings there.

CHLOE
I thought you were dead.

They don't want to let go.

CHLOE
The Red-Blue-Blur missing and then Dr. Hamilton said-

Clark pulls away from Chloe surprised.

CLARK
I'm fine.  I've been looking for you.

CHLOE
But Dr. Hamilton said you were in danger.

Confused, Chloe decides she needs to get back as soon
as possible, though she doesn't know who she loves;
Clark or Davis?  

By being with Davis she can stop the monster from coming
out; she tells Clark that they may be really close to finding a
cure!  But she needs to get back.  He should bring up the
Black K. She thinks that there could be side effects.

Clark receives a text from Lois.  "Where are you?"  Clark
was supposed to meet her to work on their "stories."

He ignores the text.

CLARK
Chloe, do you trust me?

Chloe stares back at him.  Of course she trusts him, she
just doesn't think Black Kryptonite is the answer.

CHLOE
I have to go Clark.  Davis could be in danger.

Suddenly, Oliver enters.  Chloe and Oliver don't like each
other very much right now.

OLIVER
Trust...
(laughs)
I couldn't help but overhear that last part.

Oliver places mistrust between Chloe and Clark, by telling
Chloe that Clark didn't restore her memories right before
her wedding.

She doesn't want to believe it's true, but Clark doesn't deny
it.

They can all find a rational way to work this all out.  Clark
brings up the Black Kryptonite again. Oliver thinks it's a
bad idea.  Chloe agrees.  She doesn't completely trust
Clark right now.  She thinks that she should just get back
to Davis as soon as possible.  Oliver blocks her way.

INT. JIMMY'S APARTMENT -- NIGHT

Lois, annoyed that Clark is ignoring her, decides she's
going to have to get these stories herself.  She goes to
see Jimmy. She convinces him to join her as her partner
and find the RBB. Jimmy, wanting to redeem himself for
the past year (disturbed by the Dr. Hamilton debacle)
chooses to help her.

INT. KENT BARN -- NIGHT

Oliver tells Chloe that Bart and Dinah should be where
Davis is right about now.

Chloe calls Davis, and warns him to get out of there
NOW.

Chloe hears Davis being kidnapped by Bart and Dinah.

INT. MOTEL ROOM. -- MOMENTS LATER

(A Plot): Clark superspeeds Chloe to the location (trying
to prove she can trust him again), but they are too late! 
Davis is gone.  They tranquilized him and took him.

END OF ACT TWO



DOOMSDAY REWRITE ACT ONE

ACT ONE

INT. MOTEL ROOM. -- DAY (PRESENT DAY)

Start the scene with Chloe looking at an article of how the
RBB has disappeared.  Davis wakes up, while Chloe tries
to cover up the fact that she was looking at the article. 
Davis gives Chloe a quick kiss good morning.  

Davis notices that she's trying to hide what she's been
looking at.  He pretends not to notice.  They talk about
where they want to "move" to next.

Dr. Hamilton interrupts their conversation with a phone call. 
He tells Chloe that she needs to return immediately.  Clark
is in bad shape.  Dr. Hamilton tells her he has found a way
to get her back safely and quickly without anyone detecting. 
BUT Davis has to stay behind at the motel.  It will just be
for a couple days.

She's hesitant, but Davis can see she wants to go.  (The
audience will question; Who does Chloe really love?  Clark
or Davis?)

Chloe decides that she needs to go back to see if she can
save Clark (Think BATB - Beauty leaves the Beast to see if
she can save her father; same thing).  

Davis can't say no to her, even though he fears what will
happen.   He figures that unless he lets her go back, he'll
lose her. She needs her friends and family.  She'll tell him
not to leave the motel.  The past year, he's mentally calmed
down quite a bit, so he can go much longer without turning
into the beast.  But, it's still a risk.

Davis gives Chloe his cross (the cross he always has, 
carried with him in his ambulance; it's symbolic of the ring
the Beast gives Beauty so she can return) to remind her to
come back to him.  (Will Chloe return in time to save Davis?
How long can he go without Chloe before turning into the
Beast?)

INT. OLIVER'S MANSION. -- DAY

Reveal Dr. Hamilton putting the phone down from having
talked to Chloe.  Oliver stands over him holding him
forcefully.

DR. HAMILTON
Happy?

He lets go of Dr. Hamilton.  He's blackmailing him.  Basically,
if Dr. Hamilton doesn't help them find Chloe and Davis,
Oliver will ruin his life (and that of Dr. Hamilton's ex-wife).  

Oliver is no longer thinking clearly.  Oliver reveals that based
on what Jimmy found earlier, they know Chloe's location, and
with her gone they can get Davis pretty easily.  He's going to
send Dinah and Bart as well as Dr. Hamilton.

OLIVER
I'd appreciate your cooperation.

Dr. Hamilton begrudgingly agrees.  You can see he's starting
to become suspicious of so called "superheroes."

Jimmy walks in to the scene.  He's surprised to see Dr.
Hamilton looking frightened.  Jimmy starts to question what
it is he is actually doing.  Jimmy thinks he might be on the
wrong track.

Jimmy might not know what the right thing to do is, but he
knows it's not "this."

Jimmy quits, leaving Oliver there.  He's had enough.  He
doesn't know what to think about Oliver and his own actions.

INT. LUTHOR MANSION. -- DAY

Summary: Tess walks into the mansion to discover some
kind of a "beast" has broken in and stolen the orb.  At first,
the audience will think it was Davis/DD.  But it's not.  The
police come and she lets them think that it's that "beast."
But she knows the truth.  "X" has stolen the orb (had
someone steal it while she was meeting with him earlier)
because she hasn't been doing her job well enough.  She
hasn't gotten the orb to work, and she hasn't found
Doomsday.  So, he lessens the load.  He sends her a
text.

INSERT TEXT - FROM X TO TESS

"Find me Doomsday and do your job"

BACK TO SCENE

NOTES:

(Tess will set off some of the later events of the day. 
She needs the fight between Clark and Doomsday to
happen).

Their plan is to blame the thievery on the monster,
when really it's a Cadmus experiment that broke in.

That way they can make everyone think the monster
has returned, while keeping Cadmus a secret.  X is in
charge of Cadmus.

Can they get the Clark/DD fight to happen to be able to
bring Zod back so they can study Kryptonians?  That is
what the Orb is for, AKA to bring Zod back.  Zod wants
his son DD to fulfill his destiny and kill Kal-El, so he can
take over the world. He'll reward them saying they will be
"gods among men."  

Tess thinks it's just a way to get Clark to fulfill his destiny. 
She believes DD will lose, not Clark.  She, like everyone
else, has her own agenda.  They want his technology
and power. X works for Zod.  Tess really works for herself. 
She has a strange way of wanting to help Clark.

INT. DAILY PLANET. -- DAY

Summary: Lois and Clark are working at the Daily Planet.
  Clark's trying to get back to his old self with Chloe gone
for a year now.  

Clark points out to Lois that he already knows Perry.  It's
how he got a job at the Daily Planet in the first place,
because of his recommendation.  Lois thinks "she'll" be
the star reporter.  

Another journalist walking out of Perry's office saunters
over to Lois and Clark.

JOURNALIST
Lane.  Perry wants you in his office...pronto.

Smug, Lois turns to Clark.

LOIS
See.  I've already gotten myself a meeting with the new boss.

Clark rolls his eyes.

JOURNALIST
You too Kent.

It's Clark's turn to gloat.

They walk in to see Perry reading through different files on
Lois Lane and Clark Kent.

Perry's trying to clean up the planet. Clark only still works
there so he can use the database.  He also makes himself
useful by typing up everyone else's stories.

Perry thinks Clark has become a bit of a slacker.  Perry
wants Lane to prove herself.

From looking through their files, he's disappointed that
they haven't gone to school to hone their journalism skills.

PERRY
Things may have been different when the Planet was run
by the Luthors and Mercer, but it's about time I get this
place on track.

He tells them that they may have had everything handed to
them on a silver platter in the past, but that's ancient history. 
He has a "To Do" list for both of them.  He wants them to go
back to school (night classes), he chastises Lois for her
"Stiletto" pieces, etc...

He wants Lois and Clark to find him the RBB and the Cornfield
Killer.

PERRY
Or Lane, YOU'RE FIRED!

To Lois, Perry will be like her father.  He's a bit of a ball-breaker. 
He actually intimidates her at first.  After looking over Lois's file,
he only decides to keep her at all because of her connection to
both Chloe and the Cornfield Killer and the RBB.

LOIS
Why not Clark?

PERRY
From what I hear, he's the fastest typist we've got.

Perry gives Clark a wink, which infuriates Lois.

Perry mentions Chloe and her talent as a journalist. 
He thinks it a sad day that someone with as much
talent, and hard working skills as her would just throw
it all away.  

PERRY
I liked Sullivan.  She had spunk.

Perry wants Lois and Clark to prove themselves and work
as a team!  Before they leave, Perry calls out to Lois.

PERRY
Oh, and Lane.  Get me some coffee.

Basically, can Lois and Clark prove themselves as journalists
to Perry White?)

DOOMSDAY REWRITE TEASER

The scene OPENS ON BLACK to the sound of a:

DRIP. DRIP.

SLOW FADE UP TO:

INT. KITCHEN. -- MORNING

An EXTREME CLOSE UP of a MAN'S eyes, a journalist. The
audience will not be able to see who he is. They'll just be able
to see his eyes as they pop open to the sound of the DRIP.

PULL OUT so the audience can see the man has fallen
asleep in his kitchen. He's surrounded by a disorganized
clutter of belongings. In the midst of the mess sits his
laptop, lulled to sleep by inactivity. He forces himself up,
still half asleep. He's had a long night!

The man wakes up his computer, and stumbles to the
coffee pot, which continues to DRIP (the drip has been
revealed!).  He turns the coffee pot off and pours himself
a cup. No sugar, just the coffee; His daily ritual.

Returning to his computer, with coffee cup in hand, he
stares at a black cursor bleeping silently on the screen,
a news story waiting to be finished.

He opens his computer's CD player and pops in a CD. 
He places the coffee cup next to his computer, and
presses play on a song.

Music cue: Air's "Supermassive Black Hole" by Muse.

The man's inspiration of choice; He begins to type as
the song plays in the b.g. (The rest of the teaser will
play out as a music video montage to the song
mentioned above).

A finished news headline flashes across the screen.

INSERT - NEWSPAPER HEADLINE

"Where is the Red Blue Blur?"

MONTAGE - CLARK KENT'S YEAR PASSING

--  Daily Planet.  CLARK KENT tracks desperately
    for Chloe on the computer database.

--  Clark in Edge City, superspeeding to an empty
    motel room  where he thought Chloe and Davis
    might be.

--  Daily Planet.  LOIS LANE stares at the empty
    desk of Clark across from her.

--  ISIS.  Clark tries to track Chloe and Davis again,
    now unshaved.

--  Clark in Canada, superspeeding past the
    "Welcome to Canada" sign to a used car lot. 
     No Chloe and Davis in sight.

--  Phone Booth on the streets of Metropolis.  Lois
    waits for the RBB to call her on the phone.  Clark
    watches from a distance, and then superspeeds
    away,  leaving Lois alone.

--  Kent Barn.  Clark sits in the loft looking at a picture
    of Chloe as well as the box with Black Kryptonite inside.

--  Clark walks back into the Daily Planet, clean-shaven
    and begrudgingly goes to work. (He's still lax on RBB
    duties because he won't give up on finding Chloe!  It's
    been  been a year though.  He's trying to move on).

BACK TO SCENE

The man types out another headline on his computer. He's
getting really into it.

INSERT - FINISHED NEWSPAPER HEADLINE

"Crime at an All Time High."

SERIES OF SHOTS - CRIME IN METROPOLIS

A)  THUG steals purse from woman on the streets.

MONTAGE - CHLOE AND DAVIS

--  Edge City.  CHLOE SULLIVAN and DAVIS BLOOME
    check into  motel.

--  Motel.  Chloe and Davis make-out.  The make out fits
    into the beat of the music.  It's almost choreographed in style.

--  Canadian border.  Chloe and Davis cross the border Bonnie
    and Clyde style in a new car.

--  Canada.  In apartment, Chloe and Davis stand over an
    unfinished blueprint of a man as well as a monster (think
    Edward Scissorhands-ish in its scope; If they can figure
    out how he was made and programmed, maybe they can
    undo his programming, so he can be free).  Davis wears
    glasses while Chloe smiles at him with her now longer 
    hair falling into her eyes.  

BACK TO SCENE

The man types out another headline to the beat of the song.

INSERT - NEWS HEADLINE

"Break-ins at Luthorcorp Facilities Spotted Around the Globe."

MONTAGE  CHLOE, DAVIS, DR. HAMILTON

-- Put in a montage of scenes of Chloe and Davis breaking in
   with the help of the information Dr. Hamilton sends them 
   from disclosed locations. Chloe wears a wig; they're "sexy"   
   breaking in together, etc… They are breaking into these
   places to piece together the genetic map Dr. Hamilton is
   helping them with.

INSERT - NEWS HEADLINE

"The Suspenseful Hunt for the Cornfield Killer Continues."

MONTAGE - THE HUNT

Put in a montage of scenes of different groups (like the Police,
FBI, etc…) searching for Chloe and Davis. They always just
miss them!  Include Jimmy and Oliver searching for the Beast
as well as spying on Dr. Hamilton. Make sure to show Oliver
putting on his Arrow outfit as well as Jimmy taking photos of Dr.
Hamilton.   

Jimmy works for Oliver and the Justice League dresses snappy,
but is still tempted by drugs; he thinks about whether or not he's
going to swallow more pills.  Instead, he throws his camera over
his shoulder. Jimmy is good at spying. He can take Pictures of Dr.
Hamilton, because he figures out that he's helping Chloe.  

Oliver is suspicious of Dr Hamilton. Jimmy is Oliver's personal
spy. That way he doesn't have to know about the Green Arrow.
He just thinks he's an eccentric Billionaire who wants him to spy
on people. They're both trying to catch the Beast.  Jimmy finds
something on Dr. Hamilton which will lead to the location of Chloe
and Davis.

INSERT - NEWS HEADLINE

"Mercer Hands the Daily Planet Over to the City"

SERIES OF SHOTS  TESS MERCER'S YEAR PASSES

A)  TESS MERCER stares at Orb obsessively, falls asleep.

B)  Leaving the Daily Planet Office with one last look around.

C)  Handing the keys over to the Metropolis MAYOR.

INSERT - NEWS HEADLINE

"The Red Blue Blur Still MIA."

INT. THE DAILY PLANET  DAY (PRESENT DAY)

PULL BACK to Clark, reading the article with a frustrated sigh. 
He stares up at the SOUND of FOOTSTEPS approaching.

CLOSE IN on the feet of the Unknown Man, the same journalist
who's been writing all of these articles. His face remains hidden
as he walks with a suave style to the beat of the music through
the DAILY PLANET front doors.  All eyes are on him. They are
intimidated and they all KNOW who he is.

INT. HALLWAY. -- DAY

Tess walks (in comparison to the man walking through the Daily
Planet) down the hallway. She gets into an elevator. She smiles
with a smug expression as the elevator door closes.

INT. DAILY PLANET. -- CONTINUOUS

From behind, we can see that the unidentified man is wearing
headphones, and is listening to music (still "Supermassive Black
Hole).

Lois and Clark are at their desks. They join the crowd as they all
stare.  The man makes his way to the Editor's Office.  It's his
domain, and now his office.  The Planet is his turf, and he will not
be reckoned with. He walks through the doors.

INT. OFFICE OF "X" --CONTINUOUS

Tess coming through the entryway (transitioning from the above
man walking into the office) and shuts the door. The audience will
see a big "X" on the name plate of the door.

INT. DAILY PLANET.  -- CONTINUOUS

The Man sits at his desk (use shots which will hide his identity). 
Finally, we see his face.  It is PERRY WHITE.  The music comes
to a stop.  With a gleam in his eye, Perry makes a declaration.

PERRY
Someone find me the Red-Blue-Blur!

We were writing in continuity up through Injustice. So, at the end of Injustice, Chloe and Davis are still gone, Clark and Oliver are on the outs, Tess is married to some orb, Jimmy has started to work for Oliver, everyone is on the hunt for Chloe and Doomsday, Clark wants to save Chloe, and the last time we saw Lois she was happy to talk to the RBB. We have a whole year pass.

Well anyway, this is all rough and not fully written out. It's just an organized summary of our ideas which switch in and out of notes, script format (some dialogue) and our thoughts. But it still makes sense, I think!!! It's actually pretty detailed, so everyone should be able to follow it and get a good visual of the episode.

We decided not to finish the episode, when we decided to do the Virtual Season because it would just give some things away. But we decided to share what we did with everyone anyway.

We took out a few parts that would give away spoilers for the Virtual Season. Also, you might recognize a couple things that we took from this and put in the VS already! Though yes, this does have some major differences and has a completely different continuity. We wrote in line with where the writers could have gone. So even though, we're not fans of say Clois, we do include them because that would be the natural progression. We do answer a few unanswered questions as well.

So here's our version of DOOMSDAY (in synopsis/script/notes format):

A PLOT: Chloe/Davis discovery which leads to Doomsday/Clark fight;

B PLOT: Jimmy and Lois pursue journalism and the Red-Blue-Blur.

C PLOT: Tess/the Orb/X/Lana.
